My name is Mark Gibbons and I aspire to capture the essence of life in photographic form in the idyllic surrounds of the Scottish Borders.
New this month....
The m-n-g photography website is designed to showcase my passion and enthusiasum. In my portfolio you can see the work, from many events and projects I have had the pleasure of working on.
Living in Coldstream in the Scottish Borders, I have breathtaking scenery surrounding me.
With places like, Berwick upon Tweed, Kelso, Melrose and surrounding areas on my doorstep I rarely miss an opportunity to capture this golden landscape and it's inhabitants, large and small.
Horses feature heavily in my life, so quite often chances occur where I can work with these graceful and powerful animals. Many of the events I have been asked to attend are of an equestrian nature. I thotoughly enjoy the challenge of working with dogs and examples of these are contained in the gallery pages along with flora & fauna, local beauty spots, motorbike photography and the occasional abstract image in my portfolio.
I have a real passion for photography and when prompted by friends & family
I started up m-n-g photography, and jumped at the chance to hopefully inspire and catch the imagination of all I work with. I would love to hear your comments and suggestions regarding any future events you have planned and the chance to come and capture a brief moment in time for all to enjoy.
"If you have an idea for photographs you would like me to take, I would be only too happy to visit you at a location of your choice. I am willing to travel a reasonable distance in the Scottish Borders & North Northumberland to capture whatever you have in mind, whether it be a portrait or even your wedding."
